The payment story in Belgium is quickly told: the deposit runs through Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and you withdraw by bank transfer. What you may still know as Payconiq has been Bancontact Pay since March 2026. Bancontact sits on the Belgian debit card as standard, with a minimum deposit that usually sits at €5.
